A mySA GOV account lets you access personal information and complete vehicle registration and licence transactions that require extra confidentiality and security.

This includes checking demerit points, registering a vehicle in your name, notifying us you have sold or disposed of a vehicle (lodge a notice of disposal), completing medical self-assessments, and setting up direct debit for your vehicle registration.

With a mySA GOV account you can also use the mySA GOV app to digitise your driver’s licence and set registration and licence renewal reminders.

When you create a mySA GOV account online, you will be asked to provide information that is unique to you. This will allow us to confirm your identity and verify your details in order to protect your personal data.
