New online application for replacement licence number

13 October 2022

If you have been affected by the recent Optus data breach and are yet to apply for a replacement licence, you can now apply online with your mySAGOV account.

The online application will provide a simpler and more convenient option for South Australians who have had their details compromised.

Optus has advised all its customers who have had their licence number compromised in the breach.  To complete the online application, you will need to make a declaration stating you have received a notification specifically relating to your licence number being exposed.

You will receive an email once your application has been completed.

You will be able to access your new licence number through your mySAGOV account and on the mySAGOV app.

A new driver’s licence card will be produced and posted to the you in 1-2 weeks.

If you don’t have a mySAGOV account, please click here for information on how to create one.
