COVID-19 impacts on vehicle inspection services and Service SA Mitcham office

Customers are advised that the Department’s Vehicle Identity Assessment (VIDAS) facilities will be closed this week due to the impact of the COVID-19 Omicron outbreak on staff availability.

The VIDAS facility at Naweena Rd, Regency Park will reopen on Monday 31 January. The facility at Ellemsea Circuit, Lonsdale will reopen on Wednesday 2 February.

All customers with bookings for repaired written-off vehicle inspections have been contacted and advised that their booking will be rescheduled.

Service SA Mitcham office

Service SA customers are advised that the Mitcham customer service centre will remain closed this week due to the impacts of the Omicron outbreak on staff availability.

Customers are reminded that many Service SA transactions can be completed online at www.service.sa.gov.au.

If you do need to visit in person, the nearest customer service centres to Mitcham are Marion or Tranmere.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience to customers affected by these closures.
