Older drivers are generally safe, experienced and careful, but there are certain factors that can affect driving skills as drivers get older.

Reaction times, good health and flexibility, and medications can all play a part in how a person drives and how safe they are on the road.

If you or someone you know feels that their driving skills are not what they used to be or you would like more information to help you decide to drive less or stop driving altogether, our Moving Right Along resource contains information about staying healthy, fitness to drive requirements, driver medical assessments and alternative travel options.

Download a copy or pick one up at our nearest Service SA centre. For more information about Moving Right Along visit the Community Programs website.
