Sold your vehicle? You can notify us online

If you have sold or disposed of a vehicle that has previously been registered in South Australia you can notify us with a mySA GOV account.

If you don’t advise Service SA that you no longer have the vehicle, you could be held responsible for parking and other driving offences until the new registered owner transfers the registration into their name.

You can notify that you have sold a vehicle online if you have the following information:

The buyer’s:

• South Australian driver’s licence or client number
• First and last name
• Date of birth

And the date and time of sale and the selling price.
